Tuffet Workshop, Sidmouth. to re - schedule
This workshop is not for beginners.
In this 2 day workshop you will learn the art of making a tuffet.
Once you learn the skills to make your very own tuffet you'll want to make more and more. Your first day is learning the techniques to create the pieces that will make the tuffet and how these get put together.
You will have Julie on hand if you get stuck.
On your second day you will continue to create your tuffet and sew it together to make your very own tuffet. Don't worry if you don't complete it on the day, you will have all the skills to continue making it at home.
£135.00 Kit (not including fabric) has all you need which you can purchase on the day or beforehand using the drop down when you book online.
PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE FABRIC BEFORE THE CLASS. YOU CAN USE THE BELOW AS A GUIDE AS TO HOW MUCH FABRIC YOU WILL NEED.
Sixty-four (64) 2” x 21” strips of fabric.
If you want to coordinate fabrics, you will need eight (8) – .25m of cut fabric or a Jelly roll which works really well.
Please have your fabric cut into strips ready for the workshop.
Other equipment for the workshop needed:
Add – A – Quarter Ruler (I will have these available to buy)
Sewing Machine
Thread (sewing kit)
Sharp scissors
Pins
Rotary Cutter
Mat marker pen
If you have a staple gun bring it along.
Notes: Teas/Coffees/Cake will be provided.
Please bring your own lunch.
